Can I just say that I was lusting over these JC Stacked Wingtips (top left hand photo) in Nordstrom a few weeks back! I wasn't entirely convinced that I needed them per say, but after seeing them paired so perfectly...I'm tripping over myself for fighting the impulse to buy!

I know I'm a few weeks late on this post...However, this is a fall pre-sale lookbook and seeing as how it is in fact not fall, I feel relatively premature! I fully intend on saving up for a few of these pieces, which I will not disclose to the interwebs just yet. All I can say is, holy hell is it time for some retail therapy yet?

From the first day to this, sheer greed was the driving spirit of civilization.

Like most fashion obsessed twenty-somethings, I am head-over-high-heels in love with sheer maxi skirts and dresses. The twist on an article of modest apparel into the modern day mini-skirt, without the trashy associations, is fantastic. It's risky, casually sexy, and definitely one of my winter closet staples. Melis Agazat's styling is wonderful: the playfulness of textures, color pallets, and fabrics is what initially caught my eye. I can't wait to try some of these looks out this winter...and carry over the general idea into Spring/Summer again.
