Free People: F/W 2011

Can I just say that I was lusting over these JC Stacked Wingtips (top left hand photo) in Nordstrom a few weeks back! I wasn't entirely convinced that I needed them per say, but after seeing them paired so perfectly...I'm tripping over myself for fighting the impulse to buy!

I know I'm a few weeks late on this post...However, this is a fall pre-sale lookbook and seeing as how it is in fact not fall, I feel relatively premature! I fully intend on saving up for a few of these pieces, which I will not disclose to the interwebs just yet. All I can say is, holy hell is it time for some retail therapy yet?

Lingerie Lust

Can I just say...I am beyond impressed, and wish I had the funds to support that extensive of a lingerie collection. Japan has always been such a huge leader in the fashion industry. I am in lust <3

Pastel Fever

It's hotter than hades here! Yet rather than being drawn towards the current scantily clad "color-blocking" trend like my fellow LA contemporaries, I'm being possessed by an uncanny lust for subdued colors. Which, had you seen my recent clothing purchases, would take you by no surprise. I've found myself drawn from shades of greys to pallets of the romantic variety. Which seems to be a direct reflection of my current mood. I'm daydreaming of time spent lounging in my boudoir, drapped in blush tones and light, surrounded by wild flowers, reading all the Alexandre Dumas my little heart can take! Thank goodness it's finally the weekend; I may have to bring this vision to life!
